"My Way" is a song by American singer Usher, released by LaFace and Arista Records on May 18, 1998, as the third single from his second album, My Way (1997). The song was written by Usher alongside its producers Manuel Seal and Jermaine Dupri, the latter of whom provides an uncredited guest appearance and backing vocals.
Release and reception Despite moderate airplay, the single sold well and reached number two on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Due to the disappointment of the "Nice & Slow" single in the United Kingdom, "My Way" was not released as a single there. In 2016, Complex ranked "My Way" number ten on their list of the 25 greatest Usher songs, and in 2021, American Songwriter ranked the song number two on their list of the 10 greatest Usher songs.
